As we pressed into prayer several prophetic words were released all declaring unity over the community of North Belfast – unity is the weapon and strategy that God uses to command life and blessing – The enemy uses division and hostility to steal, kill, and destroy - 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐛𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞.
We set up two teams at City Side Shopping Centre, one inside and the other outside, turned on the worship music and the presence of God was felt – many people walking by commented on the music and atmosphere in the air – we don’t use loud halers to shout at people we simply approach them and have conversation.
We share with those who are willing to listen how the power of Jesus Christ has transformed our lives, and bring the truth of God’s word into every conversation.
As soon as we arrived 3 young men were spoken to and made statements like, “𝙬𝙚 𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙢𝙚𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙢𝙚𝙚𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙩𝙤𝙙𝙖𝙮,” and as we prayed with them the Holy Spirit touched them deeply.
Another young woman burst into tears as she said years ago she had asked Jesus into her life, but had since walked away from Him, and as we prayed for her she rededicated her life.
Two young ladies were approached by members of the team, one of them a Christian who had an addiction to cigarettes she opened the conversation, “𝙄 𝙗𝙚𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙜𝙪𝙮𝙨 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙟𝙪𝙙𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙢𝙚 𝙣𝙤𝙬” after being assured she was not being judged the team expressed Gods love for her and His desire to bring wholeness and freedom to her life – both girls experienced a touch from God as they were prayed with – and the young lady who was not a Christian surrendered her heart to the Lord.
Many spoken to have previously asked Jesus into their lives, but for one reason or another had walked away from God, and as the message of God’s love and acceptance was shared they rededicated their lives back to God.
Many were prayed with for family and emotional reasons, many were prayed with for physical ailments, and many people heard the gospel and the love which God has for people was expressed
The day drew to a close with a sense of accomplishment and joy, as the teams reflected on the lives touched and the seeds planted. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐡 was reinforced, reminding everyone of the strength found in working together under the banner of Christ.
